I got to play chess against International Master Eric Tangborn in one of his simultaneous chess exhibition on Feb. 3, 2005 over at Microsoft's Redmond campus.
It was a lot of fun and challenging. Although I went down a piece early, I came back to get a draw. I'll take a draw against an International Master anyday... ;-)
